A COMPACT DESIGN OF WI-MAX APPLICATION FOR CPW BASED FED KOCH FRACTAL ANTENNA SLOT
Abstract
It is suggested in this study that a dual big-band
CPW-fed modified Koch fractal found out slot
antenna, which is suitable for WLAN and Wi-
MAX operations, be used. In this example, the
jogging frequency of a triangular slot antenna is
faded using the Koch new release method, resulting
in a compact antenna. Studies on the impedance
and radiation trends of the proposed antenna
indicate that a modified Koch fractal slot antenna
has an impedance bandwidth ranging from 2.38 to
3.95 GHz and a 4.95–6.05 GHz protective
2.four/5.2/5.eight GHz WLAN bands and the
2.five/three.5/5.5 GHz Wi-MAX bands, and a
radiation bandwidth ranging from 2.38 to 3.95 GHz
and 4.95–6.05 GHz. A advantage more than 2.0
dBi is achieved by the antenna's directed radiation
coverage over the full operational band. Empirical
own family members are inferred and the findings
are compared to each other.
