APPLICATION OF PROSE AND POETRY TO DEVELOP SOFT SKILLS AMONG THE HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS OF ANDHRA PRADESH

Abstract

Basically, that's what literature is all about. It’s
the folks who went before us, tapping out
messages from the past, from beyond the
grave, attempting to inform us about life and
death! They're right!Dolly PartonThis period of
time is depicted vividly in literature. Inspiration,
confidence, emotional stability, and problemsolving
capability all stem from it. Readers are
energised by it. Reading the memoirs of famous
individuals may be a tremendous source of
motivation and inspiration. In order to grow as
a person, it is critical to have a strong set of soft
skills. In today's workplace, soft skills take up
the majority of the workload. Because Soft Skills
are important for personal, social, and
professional success, students who study them
in high school will benefit in all three areas. Soft
Skills may be more easily developed if literature
can be well comprehended. The purpose of this
study is to provide an overview of the extent to
which the prose and poetry included in the high
school curriculum in Andhra Pradesh aids in the
development of Soft Skills among the high
school students.
