Abstract

In this work the upper bound of the spectral efficiency (i.e. the channel capacity) of the DWDM long haul transmission system (100×10Gb/s) is estimated, considering the presence of fiber nonlinear effects with different modulation/detection regimes, considering the collision induced timing jitter of the soliton based DWDM system with amplification and filtering, also the BER is calculated for each channel.
